Grand Blue Synopsis
Iori Kitahara moves to the coastal city of Izu for his first year at university and settles in Grand Blue, his uncle's diving shop. Iori has high hopes and dreams of having the ideal college experience, but when he walks into the store he is sucked into the alcoholic activities of the carefree Dive Club members who frequent the venue. Persuaded by upperclassmen Shinji Tokita and Ryuujirou Kotobuki, Iori reluctantly joins their bizarre party.
His cousin Chisa Kotegawa enters later and catches him red-handed, earning Iori his total contempt. Based on the popular comedy manga by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, Grand Blue follows Iori's misadventures with his eccentric new friends as he strives to make his ideal college dream come true, while also learning to scuba dive.
