Senpai is An Otokonoko returns in February

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Pomu, "Senpai is An Otokonoko," a new promotional video for the project's sequel film was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for February 14, 2025 in theaters in Japan, and shows a fragment of the main theme song titled "Otona ni Nare nai" and performed by Kujira.

For its part, Pomu began publishing the manga through the digital service LINE Manga in December 2019, and ended it in December 2021 with a total of one hundred chapters published. Pomu is also the author of the manga "Shinobimasu!", which he has been publishing in Manga Time magazine Kirara Max since September 2017. The anime adaptation aired during the Summer-2024 season (July-September) and had twelve episodes.

Synopsis of Senpai Is An Otokonoko

Makoto Hanaoka, a female second-year student, easily attracts the attention of others. Saki Aoi, a first-year student, is no exception and falls in love with Makoto at first sight. Having a vibrant and vigorous personality, he does not hesitate to confess his feelings to his superior. However, Makoto differs significantly from the person Saki perceives: Makoto is not a girl, but a cross-dressing boy!
