Uzumaki: Spiral into Horror is now going to be released
On the official website for Adult Swim television, a new promotional video for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Junji Ito, "Uzumaki: Spiral into Horror", was revealed. The video confirms again that the premiere is scheduled for September 28 on both Adult Swim and streaming services a day later (HBO Max).
Although the series is confirmed with only four episodes, it has been delayed on a variety of occasions. Originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, it was delayed to 2021, then to October-2022, and then indefinitely in June-2022.

Synopsis of Uzumaki
In the village of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie Goshima lives a relatively normal life with his family. However, one day when she was walking to the station to meet her boyfriend, Shuuichi Saito, she notices that her father is staring at the shell of a snail in an alley. Without giving it much importance, Kirie tells Shuuichi about the situation, to which he replies that his father has also been acting very strange. Shuichi also reveals his desire to escape the village with Kirie, claiming that people have become obsessed with spirals. But his father's obsession soon turns deadly, starting a chain of horrific and inexplicable events.
