Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon would have a new sequel

A recent leak claimed that the anime adaptation of the manga "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid)" will have a new sequel that is currently in production. It should be noted that the information is pending official confirmation, and there is no indication of when there will be any official announcement for the franchise.

For his part, Coolkyousinnjya began publishing the manga through Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine in May 2013, where it is still in serialization. The anime adaptation has been produced by Kyoto Animation studios and has a total of twenty-five episodes to date, released in Winter-2017 (January-March) and Summer-2021 (July-September).

Synopsis of Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon

For Kobayashi, every workday is the same grueling routine, followed by a night of drinks with colleagues to blow off steam. However, her stagnant life changes one morning when she is greeted at the door of her house by the enormous face of a dragon. Introducing himself as Tooru, the dragon transforms into a young woman dressed as a servant. After meeting Kobayashi drunk in the mountains the night before, she accepts Kobayashi's invitation to live with her as his personal maid. The story follows the daily lives of Kobayashi, his servant Tooru, and other dragons as they overcome their differences to get closer to each other.
