Two rejuvenated old men arrive in Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kagiri Araido, "Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru (A Story About a Grandpa and Grandma Who Returned Back to Their Youth)," a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for April 7 in Japan, and shows a snippet of the theme songs including:

KORESAWA will perform the opening theme titled "Kimi ga Ojiichan Atashi ga Obaachan" (You are Grandpa I am Grandma), while Mamiko Noto and Shinichiro Miki will perform the closing theme titled "Soitoge YO-YO!!" (Married for Life YO-YO!!).

New voice cast members were also announced, including:

He joins Terashima as Shouta, Mino's classmate.
Kazuyuki Okitsu as Yoshiaki, Mino's father.
I take Sakurai as Kaede, Mino's mother.

For his part, Araido began publishing the manga through the social network X (formerly Twitter), and in June 2020 through the magazine Comic Alunna, from the KADOKAWA publishing imprint.

Synopsis of Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru

Shouzou and Ine Saitou have been happily married for as long as they can remember. Even in their old age, with wrinkles and cracked limbs, the strength of this love is evident from their precious bond. And one day, by chance, they wake up and find that they are young again. Despite their new young and attractive bodies, Shouzou and Ine remain the same as they always were. Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru follows the young elderly couple in their daily lives, spending time with family and challenging the expectations of the younger ones.
