A reincarnated wife arrives in If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student

A press release listed that the manga written and illustrated by Yayu Murata, "If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student (Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru)," will have an anime adaptation that will premiere sometime this year in Japan. The statement listed production details, but did not reveal the voice cast in charge.

Yayu Murata began publishing the manga through Houbunsha's Weekly Manga Times magazine in July 2018, and finished it in December 2022. So, this is one of those rare cases where a finished manga gets an anime adaptation. This is possibly due to the fact that the work was quite popular at the time due to its curious subject matter.
Production Equipment
- Noriyuki Abe (BLEACH, Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho, Gakkou no Kaidan) is directing the anime at Studio Signpost, formerly known as Pierrot Plus.
- Sawako Hirabayashi (Horimiya, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Shiki) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Narihito Sekikawa (Tokyo Ghoul, THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE, Inu-ou) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
