Synopsis of Hell Teacher Cloud

What seems like a normal day at Dōmori Elementary School is interrupted by some strange phenomenon, which usually targets one of Cloud's own students. Cloud is forced into action, most often using the power of the Hand of the Demon to help solve the problem, but sometimes the solution lies either in another of his spiritual weapons, or in reasoning or otherwise appeasing the threatening entity.

In the end, things always seem to go back to normal, and Cloud and his students have learned something from the experience. Most of the series maintains an episodic formula, forgoing an overarching storyline in favor of more character-centric action, though there are several recurring antagonists, as well as some longer story arcs towards the end of the series.
