The popular manga Gachiakuta would have an anime adaptation

A recent leak claimed that the manga written and illustrated by Kei Urana, "Gachiakuta," will be getting an anime adaptation. According to the leak, the production is being carried out by BONES studios and will be released sometime in 2025, although it should be noted that the information is pending official confirmation.

On the other hand, Kei Urana began publishing the manga through Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022. The author has also written other one-shot works such as "Shikidou" and "Noukase", but "Gachiakuta" is her first serialized work.
Synopsis of Gachiakuta
Rudo and his adoptive father, Legto, live in the slums of a wealthy city and try to get along with the rest of the inhabitants, but Rudo despises the splurge of the upper class. Ignoring the warnings of those around him, Rudo regularly rummages through the city's trash in search of something useful or valuable to save from the "Abyss," a gaping hole where everything deemed trash, including people, is dumped. Rudo's biological father was one of those people, who was thrown into the Abyss after being accused of murder. One day, after crossing paths with a mysterious figure on his way home, Rudo returns to find Legto's dying body on the ground.
The authorities immediately found him at the scene and charged him with murder. No one believes his innocence and he is thrown into the Abyss. However, instead of dying, he finds himself in a strange, smelly place surrounded by monsters made of garbage. When Rudo is attacked by said monsters, he is saved by a man named Enjin, who reveals himself to be a "janitor," someone who uses special weapons called "jinkis" to combat these creatures. To get revenge on the one who killed Legto, Rudo reluctantly becomes a janitor to fight his way out of the Abyss.
