The original anime Shuumatsu Train Doko and Iku? Release date

With a new promotional video, the original anime Shuumatsu Train Doko and Iku? (Where Does the Doomsday Train Go?) revealed that it will premiere on April 1 in Japan.

This project was announced in commemoration of the anniversary of "Railway Day (鉄道の日)", which commemorates the date in 1872 when Shimbashi was linked to Yokohama by rail. The Rail Festival that takes place aims to promote awareness of rail safety, but more broadly acts as an event where adults and children can learn more about trains and the rail network.

Synopsis of Shuumatsu Train Doko and Iku?

A certain village on the outskirts.

This was no ordinary rural town. Residents were experiencing a strange phenomenon. But still, Shizuru Chikura had a strong desire. He wanted to see his missing friends again.

Shizuru and his friends venture out into the outside world, taking an abandoned and motionless train, not knowing if they will make it back alive. What awaits them at the last stop of this moving doomsday train?
