The Holy Grail of Eris novels will be adapted into anime

Multimedia company Drecom announced the anime adaptation of Kujira Tokiwa's light novel series The Holy Grail of Eris (Eris no Seihai) illustrated by Yu-nagi. Along with the announcement, a visual teaser and a promotional video were presented.

Kana Ichinose as Constance Grail, known for her role as Ichigo in Darling in the Franxx and Suletta Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
Sayumi Suzushiro as Scarlett Castiel, who has played Uruka Takemoto in We Never Learn and Fuuka Akitsuki in Fuuka.

The story of The Holy Grail of Eris began on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017. Drecom will simultaneously publish all five volumes of the original light novel on November 7, 2024. For its part, the manga adaptation, drawn by Hinase Momoyama, began on Square Enix's Manga UP! platform in 2019 and will reach its eleventh compilation volume also on November 7, 2024.

Synopsis of The Holy Grail of Eris

Connie is a young noblewoman whose only remarkable quality is her sincerity. In a single night, she loses her fiancé and is accused of a crime she did not commit. When all seems lost, the ghost of Scarlett Castiel, a famous villain executed years ago, possesses her and manages to clear her name. In return, Scarlett asks him for help in solving the mystery behind his death and uncovering a conspiracy that stretches to the present.
