Oblivion Battery Anime Dates Premiere With Two Trailers

The anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Eco Mikawa, Boukyaku Battery (Oblivion Battery), revealed two new trailers, although they actually share animation and their only distinguishing feature from each other is that the first shows a snippet of the opening theme song "Lilac" performed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE, while the second shows a snippet of the ending "Wasurena Uta" performed by Macaroni Empitsu. It was also confirmed that it is scheduled to premiere on April 9 in Japan.

For his part, Mikawa began publishing the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus website in April 2018. The publisher published the seventeenth compilation volume on January 4, 2024.
