Mushoku Tensei prepares his most 'funable' episode

This morning the trailer for the twenty-third episode of the second season of "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" was revealed. This episode will follow the events after the rescue of Zenith, the protagonist's mother, and the death of Paul, his father. In fact, the synopsis prepares viewers for what is to come:

"After a fierce encounter with the Hydra, Rudeus and company have finally rescued Zenith. The price has been Rudeus' left arm and Paul's life. In addition, it seems that Zenith has lost his sense of reason. Rudeus doesn't know what to do about the loss of both his parents, and then Roxy calls him..."

And this is where the spoilers begin. Readers of the original light novels are aware that this will likely be one of the most controversial episodes. Not knowing what else to do, Roxy decides to have sex with Rudeus to comfort him, which will eventually make her his second wife.

Roxy's actions have been seen by some members of the community as "taking advantage of the situation," as Rudeus was not emotionally stable enough to have unfaithful sex with another woman. On the other hand, Rudeus' weakness has also been frowned upon, precisely because he had promised to be faithful to Sylphiette during their departure, and that while his first wife was pregnant waiting for him, he was being unfaithful to her.

Whatever the viewer's stance, there's no doubt that this episode will likely be one of the most controversial in the franchise, and we can't wait to see what the reactions will be from the community after it airs:
