Japanese also criticize the ending of My Hero Academia

After more than a decade in serialization, the story of "My Hero Academia" has reached its conclusion, and although its ending has left a bitter pill to swallow among fans in the West, it seems that the Japanese (who were barely able to read the episode on August 5, since in Japan there is no access to leaks) have noticed an aspect that has changed their perspective completely.
According to some Japanese netizens, it seems that Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the franchise, left a hint that Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka were together. This contradicts what has been commented ad nauseam in the Western community, where they affirm that there is no such relationship. It was the Twitter user "@Kii_Live" who noticed the detail and who sparked the debate on networks in Japan:
- "In the final chapter of My Hero Academia, they hid Deku's left ring finger with a speech bubble, and Ochako wears the same mask as Deku around her neck, and they seem to have stayed together, right? Because that's what would make me happiest."

This soon became a trend and attracted comments from the community, who were quick to point out that, although the observation is correct, later in the same chapter you can see Midoriya's left hand, without any rings:
- "What?!, I thought, and read it again, I desperately searched for Midoriya's left hand! This changes everything."
- "Unacceptable! Did he get married? Bakugo Katsuki and Deku should get married! Call your son Bakugo Deku Might, no kidding, Ochako marry me!"
- "Seriously, I think Mr. Horikoshi took into account the fans of Deku and Ochako, the dreamer girls and the fujoshi so that they wouldn't get upset. He left the imagination to the readers."
- "This is an official approval of the couple π, I'm sure it is so! π May Deku and Ochako be happy."
- "A few weeks ago I tweeted that I was afraid to leave the relationship of the two to the interpretation of the readers. Did they get married!? Didn't they get married?! What's the answer!! π« Show me the process, please."
- "On another page the left hand is shown, but it has no ring... Please read well."
- "Not even the mask thing is true. Deku's has eight holes, while Iida's has four."
- "Show your left hand, Deku."
- "This is a common occurrence in recent Jump comic book extras."
- "Oda should also learn and finish soon. How much longer is he going to continue with this?"
- "Again, people who haven't seen either the manga or the anime commenting."
- "After seeing the example of Kimetsu no Yaiba, I know that girls who love couples can be really annoying. In Kimetsu, there's a girl who was a supporting role with a man who had an unrequited love, and the girls hated her."
- "Don't make Deku heterosexual. He's going to marry Kacchan!"
- "If they want to avoid conflict, they shouldn't have drawn it from the beginning. Stop pleasing minorities, focus on the majority."
- "All Might is a virgin, so Deku will be too."
- "Stop getting excited about a fantasy story and worry about your own reality."
- "Unfortunately, the left hand is clearly drawn in the last chapter and has no ring. The design on Ochako's collar shows her relationship with Deku."
- "Each fan has their own interpretation. That's how it should be."
- "I would have preferred them to clarify everything after so long."
- "The author seems to have trouble creating protagonists. I never identified with Deku. It was interesting, but mediocre for me."
- "If they were married, Ochako would have given him the gadget at the end."
- "Mr. Horikoshi took the fans into account. Really disgusting. If the author has to take into account the opinions of the readers, those readers are villains."
