Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku returns in 2026

During the panel for the "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku" franchise at the Jump Festa 2025 event, the main promotional video for the project's second season was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere has been scheduled for the Winter-2026 period (January-March) in Japan.
For his part, Yuuji Kaku began publishing the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus service in January 2018 and finished it in January 2021. For this reason, "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku" is one of those cases in which a finished work is adapted into anime. The first season premiered during the Spring-2023 period (April-June) and had thirteen episodes.

Synopsis of Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku
"Gabimaru the Hollow", a ninja from Iwagakure Village known for his cold attitude, is now on death row. Tired of death and betrayal, he seeks to die. However, no method of execution seems to work on him because Gabimaru, though he doesn't admit it, still has a reason to live. He wants to return home and see his wife, the reason for his happiness and why his work as an assassin began to hinder him. Therefore, he refuses to die. Asaemon the enforcer, a notorious murderer of criminals, notices this and gives the ninja a proposal. She wants Gabimaru to join an expedition to an island south of Japan in search of the elixir of life, and in return she will forgive him for all his crimes. However, this island is not a normal place: it is believed to be paradise.
