Fans Are Disappointed With Dragon Ball Daima

"Dragon Ball" fans have expressed their displeasure with Toei Animation and other companies involved in the production of the franchise's upcoming original series, "Dragon Ball Daima." The annoyance is due to the insufficient publicity that this new project has received, which has generated concern and disappointment among fans.
Recently, a new promotional image for "Dragon Ball Daima" was shared that has left a lot to be desired. The image shows a PNG collage that again features the boy Goku with his signature cane, an image that fans find repetitive and overused in each of the series' promotional materials. In addition, the image of Shenlong next to him is the same one that was used in "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero," a movie released several years ago. This has increased the frustration of fans, who were hoping for something more innovative and eye-opening about the new series.

If you zoom in, you can even notice the white edges of the PNGs, which denotes a pathetic editing job.

The only new thing that this promotional material brings is the confirmation that the release is still scheduled for October 2024, indicating that the passing of Akira Toriyama has not altered the release plans. However, this information has not been enough to assuage the concerns of fans, who believe that the lack of publicity could indicate a lack of confidence from Toei Animation in this new original project.
The synopsis of "Dragon Ball Daima" reveals that Goku and his friends will face a newly emerged enigma, after being shrunk by a mysterious conspiracy. In order to solve this dilemma, they decide to explore uncharted territory. Despite this intriguing premise, fans remain disappointed in the way the promotion of the series has been handled.
Fans of the franchise were hoping for more excitement and publicity efforts from Toei Animation to build anticipation and excitement around "Dragon Ball Daima." Instead, the reuse of images and the lack of new information have raised doubts about the show's potential success. Many fans express their hope that in the coming months a more robust promotional campaign will be carried out and that more information about the plot and characters will be revealed to increase interest in this new installment of the "Dragon Ball" universe.
