Another video game isekai arrives with Hell Mode

A press release listed that the light novels written by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo, "Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing (Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru)," will have an anime adaptation. The statement did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date.

For its part, Hamuo began publishing the story through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in November 2019, and later published it on paper through Earth Star Entertainment in July 2020, with illustrations by Mo. A manga adaptation by Tetta has been published through Comic Earth Star magazine from the same publisher since October 2020.
