After 7 years, Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? Ends

A press release reported that the manga written and illustrated by Soborou, "Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? (Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?)" will end in the October 22 issue of Weekly Young Magazine. With this, the work reaches its conclusion after seven years in serialization, although in reality it was suspended for four years.
The work went on indefinite suspension in mid-2020 when author Soborou announced that it had to be temporarily halted due to health problems, such as ear problems and worsening tendonitis. Subsequently, in 2022, he resumed his activity with the serialization of "Love and Peace" in the Monthly Shonen Magazine, but due to scheduling problems, "Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!?" remained on hiatus until August 2024.

For his part, Soborou began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in April 2017. The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Tear Studio, under the direction of Toshikatsu Tokoro and scripts written by Yuuki Takabayashi, released in Spring-2019 (April-June).
Synopsis of Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!?
Ichirou Satou, a second-year high school student, has always been a normal person, until he gets involved in not-so-normal situations with his teacher, Kana "The Demon" Kojima. Kojima is Satou's Japanese teacher and has a reputation for being so ruthless that even school delinquents bow to her. One fateful day, things get complicated when Satou bumps into Kojima in the bathroom, which leads them to share an intimate encounter that makes their imaginations run wild for days.
