A detective will arrive in Your Forma

On the official site for the anime adaptation of Mareho Kikuishi's light novels, "Your Forma: Electronic Investigator Echika and Her Amicus Ex Machina (Your Forma: Densakukan Echika to Kikaishikake no Aibou)," the first promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the Spring-2025 period (April-June), and lists the details of the voice cast and production team.

For his part, Mareho Kikuishi began publishing the light novels through Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko publishing house in March 2021, with illustrations by Tsubata Nozaki. A manga adaptation by Yoshinori Kisaragi was published in the Young Ace magazine of the same publisher between June 2021 and April 2023, without adapting all the original material.

Synopsis of Your Forma

In an alternative 2023, Your Forma, a miraculous "smart thread" technology initially developed to treat a massive outbreak of viral encephalitis, has become an integral part of everyday life. But these handy devices have an invasive drawback: they record every sight, sound, and even emotion their users experience.

For electronic researcher Echika Hieda, diving into people's memories through Your Forma and searching for evidence to solve the most difficult crimes is part of her daily work. The problem is that she's so good at what she makes her helpers literally fry their brains trying to keep up with her. After sending too many aides to the hospital, the higher-ups finally provide Echika with a companion to match, a brilliant but cheeky android named Harold Lucraft. Will this unlikely duo have what it takes to resolve their mutual suspicions and prevent a deadly technological infection from spreading around the world before it's too late?
