Train to the End of the World is suspended due to problems
On the official site for the "Girls und Panzer" and "Shirobako" director's original anime, "Train to the End of the World (Shuumatsu Train Doko and Iku?)," it was reported that the final episode will be delayed by a week due to production issues. Consequently, episode 12 that was to be broadcast on June 17, will now be broadcast until June 24.
It should be remembered that director Tsutomu Mizushima reported from the beginning of the broadcast in April-2024 that the production was already having problems since then. According to his report, when the broadcast began they had not even produced until the fourth episode, which already foreshadowed future crises.
This project was announced in commemoration of the anniversary of "Railroad Day (鉄道の日)", which commemorates the date in 1872 when Shimbashi was linked to Yokohama by railroad. The Railway Festival that takes place aims to promote awareness of railway safety, but more broadly it acts as an event where adults and children can learn more about trains and the rail network.

Synopsis of Train to the End of the World
A certain village on the outskirts. It was not an ordinary rural town. The residents were experiencing a strange phenomenon. But even so, Shizuru Chikura felt a strong desire. He wanted to see his missing friends again. Shizuru and his friends venture into the outside world, taking an abandoned and motionless train, unsure if they will make it back alive. What awaits them at the last stop of this moving doomsday train?
