This is how the vocals of The Dangers in My Heart were recorded

While fans of the "Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart)" franchise wait for the news of a third season, a series of special videos shared by the production and showing the process of voice recordings were re-discovered on social networks, specifically that of Hina Youmiya as the protagonist Anna Yamada.

Both videos include segments from several of the series' episodes, showcasing Hina Youmiya's work that amazed viewers during the adaptation's two seasons. Despite the huge popularity of "The Dangers in My Heart," the series seemingly stopped at the second season aired during Winter-2024 (January-March), covering the romantic climax of the franchise.

Of course, considering that the manga is still in serialization, the chances of a third season are not nil, so fans can still keep hopes active as Anna Yamada and Kyotaro Ichikawa's romance and comedy story continues to unfold. After all, the work of Shin-Ei Animation studios was widely valued, especially for the quality of the animation in the key moments and opening sequences of the two seasons.

  • "Japanese voice actors are really good at acting. I simply respect them and honor them. She is one of the voice actresses I like. I hope to see her more in different anime and games."
  • "She definitely has a really cute voice, right?"
  • "I begin to hear her voice like that of a little girl."
  • "I, a samurai fan from the episode 'First Date at a Theme Park,' am super happy!"
  • "Lately, I've been really liking Hina Youmiya-san's voice."

Synopsis of The Dangers in My Heart

Kyoutaro Ichikawa may seem like a typical high school student, but in his heart he dreams of murder. So it's no surprise that the person he most wants to kill is never far from his mind: class idol Anna Yamada. Reading alone in the library of his beloved school, he inadvertently begins to meet Yamada, who comes to secretly gorge himself on his beloved candies and sweets. Through their interactions, Ichikawa discovers how silly Yamada is, and he can't help but support her from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Yamada herself can't help but relentlessly mock Ichikawa due to her giddy reactions. Thanks to a series of very touching daily interactions, the distant bond between the two becomes more than just library acquaintances. Perhaps, in time, Ichikawa will come to realize that his murderous desires have turned into something else entirely.
