The roncom manga You and I are Polar Opposites will have an anime

The official website for the You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku) anime, based on the manga by Kocha Agasawa, announced that the series will premiere in January 2026. The Lapin Track studio, known for works such as Undead Girl Murder Farce and Koichimin Series, will be in charge of the animation.

The manga, a romantic comedy that debuted on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus platform on May 2, 2022, concluded last Monday. The work began as a one-shot in January 2021 and quickly gained popularity, achieving multiple recognitions, such as third place at the Manga Taisho Awards 2023 and second place at the Next Manga Awards 2022. To date, the series has surpassed 1.35 million copies in circulation.

The manga has been collected in seven volumes to date, the last of which was released by Shueisha on August 2, 2023. The series has been readable through the MANGA Plus service since June 2022, but only in the English language for the time being.
