Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Dates Comeback With A Teaser
On the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)", the first promotional video for the third season of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for April 5 in Japan, and announces that idol Rin Kurusu will perform the closing theme titled "Believer."
It should be remembered that this third season will have an extended duration of two arcs (six consecutive months of broadcast), while STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION will be in charge of the new opening theme.
The press release also revealed ten new voice cast members, including:

Fuse began publishing light novels with illustrations by Mitz Vah in May 2014 through Micro Magazine, with a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami currently in publication through Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius. A total of two seasons have been produced to date, totaling forty-eight episodes, in addition to multiple OVAs and animated spin-offs.

- Hitoshi Fujima (Grisaia no Rakuen, B Gata H Kei, Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Visual Prison) is credited with composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Satoru Mikami, 37, is a typical company worker who is perfectly satisfied with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, apart from not having gotten a girlfriend once in his life. In the middle of a chance encounter with his colleague, he falls victim to a random assailant on the street and is stabbed. However, as he succumbs to his wounds, a peculiar voice echoes in his mind and recites a lot of orders that the dying man can't make sense of. When Satoru regains consciousness, he discovers that he has been reincarnated as a slime in an unknown realm. In doing so, he acquires new abilities, most notably the power to devour anything and mimic its appearance and abilities.
Next, he stumbles upon the catastrophically sealed monster "Storm Dragon" Veldora, which has been sealed for the past 300 years for having razed a city to the ground. Understanding his situation, Satoru befriends him and promises to help him destroy the seal. In return, Veldora bestows upon him the name Rimuru Tempest to grant him divine protection. Now, freed from the mundanities of his past life, Rimuru embarks on a new journey with a clear goal in mind. As he gets used to his new physique, his sticky antics spread around the world, gradually altering his destiny.
