Taoshite 300-nen Slime Will Return Next Year

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels "Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita (I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level)", the first promotional video for the second season of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the Spring-2025 (April-June) period in Japan, and reveals the production details.

For their part, Morita Kisetsu and Benio began publishing the light novels through SB Creative in 2016. A manga adaptation by Shiba has been published on Square Enix's Gangan Online website since June 2017. The twelve-episode first season aired during the Spring-2021 season (April-June) and featured a total of twelve episodes.

Naohiro Fukushima (Higashi no Eden, Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Daini no Shokugyo wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita, Gunjou no Fanfare) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts, replacing Tatsuya Takahashi.
Hikaru Kodama (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Kurenai Densetsu, Steins; Gate 0) is in charge of character design and animation direction, replacing Keisuke Goto.
Keiji Inai (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou and Kayou) returns to handle the composition of the soundtrack.

The very ordinary office worker Azusa Aizawa suddenly dies of exhaustion. Because of this reason, she decides to live a quiet life in the mountains as an immortal witch in a 17-year-old body, after reincarnating. His main source of resources comes from defeating the slimes that abound in the area to get magic stones, which he sells to the Guild in the town. On top of that, he usually creates medicinal herbs. All of the above earns her the name of "Witch of the Mountains", and she lives to this day receiving respect and trust from people. However, after defeating slimes for more than 300 years, her experience has accumulated so much that she reached level 99, making her the most powerful witch in the entire world.
