STEINS; GATE promises a continuation

This 2024 marks the fifteenth anniversary of the release of the popular visual novel "STEINS; GATE", and to commemorate this milestone, the developer MAGES has presented a series of initiatives to celebrate with fans. Among the most prominent, a special video was recently released that covers the entire trajectory of the franchise, from its original release in 2009, through its spin-offs and the installment "STEINS; GATE 0", to the remaster "STEINS; GATE Elite".

The most intriguing thing about the video, however, is its conclusion, as it contains a message for fans: "STEINS; GATE will continue" ("Steins; Gate will continue"). Immediately after, the video ends with the sound of a phone ringing, leaving fans with an enigmatic teaser about what could come in the future of the franchise.

What does this mean for the series? Although no more concrete details were revealed, the message has caused a wave of speculation among fans, who are already beginning to debate what this new stage could entail. Some wonder if this is a direct sequel to STEINS; GATE, or if it is rather a project similar to what happened with Chaos; Head and Chaos; Child, another series in the Science Adventure universe.
