SPY x FAMILY remains suspended

The popular series "SPY x FAMILY" is in the midst of a hiatus since the fall, and recently, publisher Shueisha has reported that this hiatus will continue due to health problems of its author, Tatsuya Endo. Since its debut on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus platform, the manga has become one of the publisher's biggest successes, consolidating its popularity thanks to the anime adaptation and its recent film.

The manga has not had any new chapters since the publication of Chapter 107 in October, and although it was initially expected to return at the end of November, the plan was postponed. According to a new statement posted on social media, Shueisha confirmed that the next chapter will be available on December 23, marking the return of the play with Chapter 108.

"Regarding the upcoming SPY×FAMILY update, due to Endo Tatsuya-sensei's health condition, the series will be on hiatus on December 9. We apologize to everyone who was waiting for this release for keeping them waiting. The next update is scheduled for December 23. Thank you for your understanding!"

Although the pause has been a cause for concern, fans have shown their support for the author, highlighting the importance of prioritizing his well-being. In recent years, the working conditions of manga creators have been a topic of discussion, as it has been pointed out that they often face high levels of stress and burnout, which affects both their health and their personal lives.
