Skip to Loafer anime will have a second season

The cover of Monthly Afternoon 2025.02 magazine confirmed the production of a second season for the anime adaptation of Misaki Takamatsu's manga, "Skip to Loafer." Considering that the magazine in question will be launched on December 24 in Japan, it is likely that the official announcement will be made until that date.

For her part, Misaki Takamatsu began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine in August 2018. The first season of the anime adaptation was produced by P.A. WORKS studios and aired during Spring-2023 (April-June) in Japan.
Synopsis of Skip to Loafer
To pursue her dream of bringing positive change to Japan, Mitsumi Iwakura leaves her rural village to attend a prestigious high school in the bustle of Tokyo. Since he has already drawn up a clear life plan, he has absolute confidence that from then on there will be no setbacks. Despite her ambitious promise, the country girl ends up being late on the first day when she gets lost on her way to school. Fortunately, she meets a first-year classmate, Sousuke Shima, who is in the same situation and offers to accompany her.
They finally arrive at school, but the misfortunes do not end there, as Mitsumi leaves an unfavorable first impression on her classmates. However, the class soon notices his friendship with Sousuke despite their opposing personalities. Only time will tell if Mitsumi will be able to forge fruitful relationships with her peers, and she certainly won't be alone.
