Shoujo will be revived with Tamon's B-Side

A press release officially reported that the shoujo manga written and illustrated by Yuki Shiwasu, "Tamon's B-Side (Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!?)", will have an anime adaptation. Although the statement included a message from the author, it did not reveal many production details or a scheduled release date.

The author commented on this:

• "I'm very happy because I've always dreamed of my manga becoming anime! I can't wait to see how the characters will speak and move in the anime. I'm especially curious to see what kind of songs the actors' voices will create, as it's impossible to express F/ACE's music with words and images alone. The animation team is working hard to prepare the music, so I'm looking forward to the broadcast and helping in any way I can as an author!"

For his part, Yuki Shiwasu began publishing the manga through Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine in August 2021, where it is still in serialization. Previously the author has already written works such as "Takane to Hana", "Shinigami Grimm to Fukou Shounen: Shiwasu Yuki Tanpenshuu", "Furou Kyoudai", to mention a few.

Synopsis of Tamon's B-Side

Idol group F/ACE has recently increased in popularity thanks to Tamon Fukuhara, their handsome, wild, and talented leader. Utage Kinoshita, 17, is one of F/ACE's most admired fans. As his life revolves around the worship of Tamon, Utage works at a cleaning company to earn money and continue to support him. When her co-worker falls ill, Utage is assigned to a new client who has the same name as Tamon. She thinks it's a mere coincidence, until she comes face-to-face with the real celebrity!

His surprise only grows when he discovers that, unlike the extroverted superstar known to the public, Tamon is actually a shady guy with no friends or self-confidence. Since Utage's adoration of Tamon knows no bounds, she vows to keep her secret and stay by his side, but dealing with Tamon's opposing behaviors on and off the job can be the hardest job there is.
