See You Tomorrow at the Food Court manga will have anime

A press release listed that Yoshiki Naruse's manga, "See You Tomorrow at the Food Court (Food Court of, Mata Ashita)," will have an anime adaptation that will premiere sometime in 2025. The statement listed production details and a promotional image, but did not reveal the participating voice cast.

The author shared a special illustration to celebrate the announcement of this adaptation, and commented on it:
- "It's a story about 'high school girls chatting about unimportant things in a food court' created by an exceptional production team. As a fan, I'm looking forward to the day when we can share it with all of you."

For his part, Yoshiki Naruse began publishing the manga through Kadokawa's Comic Newtype magazine in March 2020, where it is still in serialization. He previously posted it as a standalone manga via Twitter with the title "Food Court of Joshikousei ga Shaberu daku."

To her classmates, Wada is a wealthy and quiet girl, while Yamamoto is an intimidating lonely wolf... but what they don't know is that Wada is a mobile game addict in a passionate love-hate relationship (with a 2D character) and Yamamoto has a penchant for urban legends with eyes only for her favorite YouTuber. And their biggest not-so-secret secret: these unlikely friends meet in the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and learn what makes each other tick!
