Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise announces its return

NOT Complete
The new installment will reunite the original creative team of the 2014 film, including director Seiji Mizushima and screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, who brought the first work to life. "Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise" stood out at the time for being a science fiction film fully animated in 3D, which marked a milestone in the anime industry. The story, set in a post-apocalyptic world, centers on Angela Balzac, an agent sent from a digitized society known as DEVA, to investigate suspicious activities on Earth.
The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary of the original film, which is currently in a cycle of commemorative screenings starting Nov. 15 in select theaters in Japan, for a limited period of two weeks. This revival seeks to revive the audience's excitement and attract new generations who might have missed the play at its initial premiere.
No concrete details about the plot of "Rakuen Tsuiho: Kokoro no Resonance" have yet to be revealed, but the title suggests a focus on emotional connections and human dilemmas, elements that were present in the original film. Fans have already begun to speculate on social media, anticipating the possible development of the DEVA universe and the main characters.

Synopsis of Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise
In a future where a massive disaster has devastated Earth, most of humanity has left their physical bodies and moved digitally to DEVA, an advanced space station orbiting the devastated planet. Free from the constraints of traditional existence, such as death and starvation, the inhabitants of this virtual reality reside in relative peace until Frontier Setter, a skilled hacker, infiltrates the system and spreads subversive messages among the population.
Considered a security threat by the authorities, Frontier Setter is pursued by Angela Balzac, a member of DEVA law enforcement. When the hacker's signal is traced to Earth, Angela takes on a physical form, transfers her consciousness to a clone body, and travels to the underworld to confront the threat. On Earth, he has the help of Dingo, a charismatic agent, and during his journey to discover the mystery behind Frontier Setter, he gradually discovers surprising realities about the wasteland that part of humanity continues to refer to as his home, as well as the paradise above.
