Passione will be in charge of Mato Seihei no Slave

During the Anime Expo 2024 event, producer Yuki Watanabe (Pony Canyon) revealed that the second season of the anime adaptation of "Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier)" will be produced by Passione studios. It should be noted that the first season was produced by Seven Arcs and did not receive bad reviews, so this change of studio is really a surprise.

Synopsis of Mato Seihei no Slave

When entrances to a different dimension known as the "Mato" spring up all over Japan, a new resource known as "Peaches" is discovered that grants unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called "Yomotsu Shuuki" also roam the Mato and are responsible for several disasters since then. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-Demon Corps, an elite group of women who have been given power by the Peaches.

One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was returning home from school when he suddenly gets lost in an entrance to the Mato. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the head of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. Recognizing his potential and needing it as well to make his Peaches power more effective, he asks Yuuki to join the Anti-Demon Corps by becoming his slave, a position he might find more enjoyable than he initially thought...
