Oshi no Ko surprises with a new trailer

On the official site for the anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's manga, "Oshi no Ko," a new promotional video for the second season of the project was revealed. While the premiere is scheduled for July 3, the video shows the closing theme song titled "Burning" and performed by Hitsujibungaku.
The statement also indicated that artists Kento Nakajima and Tatsuya Kitani (BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, Sentai Daishikkaku, Jujutsu Kaisen) formed the musical unit GEMN and will perform the opening theme titled "Fatal." The sequel will have a total of twelve episodes (or thirteen, if any of them have an extended duration).
The first season premiered during the Spring-2023 period (April-June) in Japan and had a total of eleven episodes. Meanwhile, Akasaka and Yokoyari began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) writes it while Mengo Yokoyari (Kuzu no Honkai) illustrates it.
