One-Punch Man will return in 2025

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga "One-Punch Man" it was listed that the third season of the project will premiere sometime in 2025 in Japan. This is the first time that a scheduled date has been mentioned, breaking with the uncertainty that had been generated around this franchise due to the absence of updates.
A special promotional visual was also revealed on the occasion of the franchise's tenth anniversary, accompanied by a special promotional video. A special event, titled as "One-Punch Man Maji Music Festival" will be held on September 14, 2025 in Tokyo on the occasion of this celebration, featuring musical performances and performances by the voice cast and production team.

For its part, ONE began publishing the manga independently in 2009, and later Yusuke Murata began publication as a manga on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump service in June 2012. The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse Studios and released in October 2015, followed by a twelve-episode second season produced by J.C.STAFF Studios and released in April 2019.

Synopsis of One Punch Man
A seemingly ordinary and unimpressive Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. To pursue her childhood dream, she trained relentlessly for three years and lost all of her hair in the process. Now, Saitama is incredibly powerful, so much so that no enemy can defeat him in battle. He is so powerful that he only needs to land one blow to defeat his enemies, because of this he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battle and has become quite boring.
This all changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, who wishes to be Saitama's disciple after seeing what he is capable of. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association to become certified heroes who will be recognized for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama, surprised that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. And so begins the story of One Punch Man, an action comedy that follows an eccentric individual who longs to fight strong enemies that can hopefully give him the thrill he once felt and just maybe, become popular in the process.
