Lupin the 3rd will finally have a new movie
The iconic white-collar thief, Lupin III, will make his long-awaited return to the big screen with a new 2D animated film, the franchise's official Twitter account announced. The project, tentatively titled "Lupin the 3rd The Movie," will be released in Japan in 2025 and promises to be a completely original work.

Likewise, the 2019 3D film, "Lupin III THE FIRST", and the crossovers "Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie" (2013) and "Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye" (2023) marked milestones in the history of the franchise, but this new production promises to return to its roots.

Synopsis of Lupin the 3rd
