Love triumphs in Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!

This article contains spoilers for the manga "Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!". Discretion is advised to the reader.
We've talked about it before, but it's always worth emphasizing. Among the romantic comedies being published today, definitely the manga of "Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!)" It remains one of the most popular. The story of Hana Uzaki and Shinichi Sakurai has progressed over the course of six years at a pace that some consider slow, and the Senpai tends to reject Uzaki's advances even now that the two are already a couple.
In fact, the story had been left on an interesting cliffhanger with its most recent chapter, as there were indications that Uzaki had finally lost his patience and were going to have sex (or at least he was going to force the Senpai to do it to him). For the same reason, fans were already impatient for the new chapter, but although what was expected did not end up happening, another unexpected surprise came to the story.
No, they weren't interrupted by a third party as usually happens in these types of stories, but Senpai, seeing that there would be no way to stop Uzaki's lust, decided to talk to her and admit that he feels like doing it too.

Uzaki can't help but feel frustrated as she realizes that Senpai, again, has rejected her. However, Sakurai surprises with an unexpected proposal: he decides to propose to her!

Obviously we're still not sure if this proposal is serious or if the Senpai just made it to calm Uzaki's anxieties, but fans were quick to react to this unexpected development:
- "Between the declaration of Senpai and Nagatoro, Rumiko-chan and Wakai, and now this ending, we are definitely looking at romcom week."
- "That's a real man, marriage first and sex second."
- "This guy fills me with pride, and the Uzaki is going to be full soon."
- "Long live the bride and groom!"
- "First he gives her the engagement ring, and then she will give him the ring."
- "Long live heterosexual love!"
- "Wow, what an unexpected ending."
- "And they know what's the best part, that it hasn't been announced that the manga is about to end or anything like that, as they usually do in manga of this genre."
- "Well, I expected something else, but I can't say I'm not satisfied with this."
- "What? They're going to wait until they're married to sheathe the sword."
- "I was expecting sex and I got the best romance of the decade."
- "This isn't them fucking, but I think we got something much better than we expected."
- "Oh no, this reminds me of Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry where everyone wanted to fuck the protagonist, but he says he wants to wait for marriage."
