Love Live! Superstar!! Returns in October with another season

On the official site for the multimedia franchise of "Love Live! Superstar!!" A new promotional video for the third season of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for October 6 in Japan, and that, evidently, the main group Liella! He will be in charge of performing the opening and closing musical themes.

The first season of the anime premiered in Summer-2021 (July-September) and featured a total of twelve episodes, followed by a second season released in Summer-2022 (July-September). This new project was announced in January 2020 during the "Love Live! Fest".

Given the new number of group members, Liella! will now also be organized into a series of sub-units, just like all previous groups in the franchise. The first unit will consist of Kanon Shibuya, Sumire Heanna, and Mei Yoneme (CatChu!), the second by Keke Tang, Ren Hazuki, and Wien Margarete (KALEIDOSCORE), and the third by Chisato Arashi, Kinako Sakurakoji, Shiki Wakana, Natsumi Onitsuka, and Tomari Onitsuka (5yncri5e!).

Production Equipment

Takahiko Kyougoku (Ano Hi no Kokoro wo Toraete, Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri, Love Live! School Idol Project) is in charge of the direction of the project at Sunrise Studios.

Synopsis of Love Live! Superstar!!

Everyone has a dream they want to achieve, and the same goes for Kanon Shibuya, who is musically talented. However, due to her stage fright, Kanon fails to get into the music program at Yuigaoka Girls' High School and instead ends up in the general curriculum. Although Kanon makes a conscious decision to quit music altogether, her classmate Tang Keke rekindles Kanon's passion for music with her own: a passion for school idols. Although Keke and Kanon attempt to form a group of school idols, their endeavor encounters strong objections from Ren Hazuki, the daughter of the school's principal.

Even so, the girls soon visit the director, who allows them to create their school idol club on one condition: they must win first place in the Yoyogi School Idols Festival. The resilience of these aspiring idols is tested as they face the challenges that come their way. Throughout their journey, the girls make new friends and meet new members who join them to become the dazzling idols that others can only imagine.
