Kimetsu no Yaiba will have longer episodes

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", it was announced that the final two episodes of the fourth season currently on air will have an extended duration according to the following schedule:
- Episode 7 (June 23) – 40-minute broadcast block.
- Episode 8/Finale (June 30) – 60-minute broadcast block.
It should be remembered that the "broadcast blocks" are the space that the broadcast of the anime occupies within the schedule of the television stations. Therefore, it cannot be said that the episodes will have the length that is mentioned, especially since you have to take into account the commercial breaks that are not seen on streaming platforms.
The third season aired during the Spring-2023 season (April-June) in Japan and had a total of eleven episodes, while the Crunchyroll platform was in charge of its distribution in the West. On the other hand, Koyoharu Gotouge published the original manga through Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between February 2016 and May 2020, compiling the work in a total of twenty-three volumes.
