As part of the publicity for Super Bowl LVIII, which will occur on February 11, 2024, a special video was released in which professional players Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy represent the characters of Sukuna and Jogo, respectively, from the popular "Jujutsu Kaisen" franchise, in their well-known fight that occurred in the second season during the arc of "Shibuya Incident." The video was shared by sports website Bleacher Report.
Super Bowl LVIII will be a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, which has not yet started at the time of writing. However, due to the characters that their players represent, fans reacted by boasting that the favorite of the website is clearly Kansas City, being that their quarterback Patrick Mahomes personifies Sukuna (being the winner of the fight at Jujutus Kaisen) to get the two-time championship with his team. Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season
The year is 2006 and the halls of the Jujutsu Institute in Tokyo Prefecture are filled with endless discussions and intense debates between two inseparable best friends. Twelve years later, students and sorcerers are the first line of defense against the growing number of high-level curses born out of humans' negative emotions. As entities grow in power, so do their self-awareness and ambition. The curses come together with the common goal of eradicating humans and creating a world where there are only cursed energy users, led by a dangerous and ancient cursed spirit. To get rid of their biggest obstacle—the strongest sorcerer, Gojou—they orchestrate an attack on Shibuya Station on Halloween. Divided into teams, sorcerers enter combat willing to risk everything to protect the innocent and their own kind.
