Goblin Slayer's seiyuu is found to be married

Earlier this month, a slim, handsome man wearing black pants and a brown jacket and carrying a branded backpack was spotted in the Shibuya neighborhood. He hurried through the hustle and bustle of downtown to a chain of coffee shops. Apparently, he had stayed there with his "beloved wife."

A source commented, "The real identity of this handsome gentleman was Yuichiro Umehara, a voice actor. Since his debut in 2013, he has landed a variety of leading roles that have led him to stardom. With his pleasing voice to the ears, he quickly became one of the most popular voice actors in the industry. Although he is someone who is very popular, it seems that he secretly got married several years ago. He never announced it publicly, so it's possible that his fans will cry a lot of tears now that he's revealed himself in this way."

Umehara, who appeared like a comet in the world of voice acting, published his first photobook in 2017, four years after his debut and is now considered something of an "idol." In his career, he has played roles such as Goblin Slayer in "Goblin Slayer," Anos Voldigoad in "Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha," Weather Report in "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," Seiya Ryuguin in "Shinchou Yuusha," among others.

A source close to the actor commented: "It's Mrs. A (identity withheld), who is an accessories designer whose designs are characterized by a retro feel based on themes from the nineties. Apparently, the couple was celebrating that Mrs. A had opened a store in Tokyo, so they headed to a café and then to a high-end sushi restaurant. As he left the restaurant, the paparazzi approached Umehara and asked about his marital status. The voice actor replied, "I got married when I was 25 or 26 (around 2016). My wife and I had been friends since college, so we've been together for a long time. We're the same age."

And when asked why she hadn't disclosed her marriage of almost ten years ago, she replied, "Well, yes. I talked about a lot of things with the agency at the time, and there weren't as many voice actors announcing their marriage with great fanfare as there are now.
