Fire Force surprises with a new trailer

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga "Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai)" a new promotional video and visual for the third season of the project was revealed. As previously confirmed, this will be the last season of the project and will be divided into two parts, scheduled for the periods of Spring-2025 (April-June) and Winter-2026 (January-March).

On the other hand, Atsushi Ohkubo published the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine between September 2015 and February 2022. So far, a total of two seasons have been produced totaling 48 episodes and were released in the Summer-2019 (July-September) and Summer-2020 periods.

Production Equipment

Tatsuma Minamikawa (Shingeki no Kyojin, Enen no Shouboutai, Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri) is directing the project at David Production Studios.
Hideyuki Morioka (Shinseiki Evangelion, Fullmetal Alchemist, Enen no Shouboutai) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Enen no Shouboutai, Goblin Slayer) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.

Synopsis of Fire Force

Shinra Kusakabe, who has yet to recover from the childhood trauma of losing his family in a fire, suffers both the blessing and the curse of being a third-generation pyrokinetic: a person endowed with the ability to freely control fire. Meanwhile, the Infernals (first-generation pyrokinetics that spontaneously turn into flaming demonic creatures) ravage the streets of Tokyo. After being recognized for his skills, Shinra joins Company 8 of the Special Fire Force, one of the many fire brigades developed to combat these Infernals.

Although working with the Fire Force seems to have fulfilled a calling, Shinra learns that becoming a hero isn't as easy as it seems. Infernals sightings worsen across the country, and his own fellow brigadistas struggle to unite against these threats. To make matters worse, Shinra's past haunts him again after confronting a mysterious cult. As he strives to uncover the truth, Shinra soon finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy that aims to engulf the world in flames.
