Fairy Tail prepares its return with exciting trailer
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda, "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest", the first promotional video of the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for July 7, and shows a snippet of the theme songs, including:
- The boy-band Da-ice will perform the opening theme titled "Story," while the band Bokugamitakattaaozora will perform the closing theme titled "Tomoyo Kokode Sayonara-da."
Mashima and Ueda began publishing the manga on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket digital service in July 2018. This manga is a direct sequel to the manga written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, "Fairy Tail", which he published in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2006 and July 2017, with a total of sixty-three compilation volumes.

Synopsis of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
The 100-year mission, a mission so challenging and dangerous that it hasn't been accomplished in more than a century. While countless magicians have tried to take on their grueling goal, their results ended in an overwhelming defeat or worse. Nonetheless, Natsu Dragneel and his friends, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet and Wendy Marvell, along with Happy and Charles, will ambitiously embark on their quest.
A year after the Fairy Tail guild has overcome the diabolical forces of Acnologia and Zeref, Natsu and his team travel to the northern continent of Guiltina, where they search for the employer of the "Hundred Year Mission", which consists of sealing the Five Dragon Gods, a group of individuals with such vast power that, if left to act, it could cause global devastation. Meanwhile, an energetic new member named Touka enters Fairy Tail. Although her vibrant energy and passionate nature make her perfect for the team, there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.
