DanMachi returns this year with its fifth season

Warner Bros. Japan announced that the fifth season of the anime adaptation of the light novels "DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka?)" will be titled "DanMachi V: Goddess of the Harvest Arc", and that its premiere is scheduled for the Fall-2024 season (October-December) in Japan.

Fujino Oomori and Suzuhito Yasuda began publishing the light novels through SB Creative's GA Bunko imprint in January 2013. In addition to several manga adaptations, the work has inspired a four-season anime adaptation and a feature film released in February 2019 in Japan.

Hideki Tachibana (BLEACH, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Fate/Apocrypha, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) is directing the anime at J.C.STAFF Studios.
Hideki Shirane (Date A Live, Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou desu yo?, Shakugan no Shana) is writing and supervising the scripts in collaboration with Fujino Oomori, the play's author.
Shigeki Kimoto (Prison School, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Zero no Tsukaima) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
Keiji Inai (Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou, BTOOOM!, BURN THE WITCH) IS IN CHARGE OF COMPOSING THE SOUNDTRACK.

Synopsis of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka (DanMachi)

Life in the bustling town of Orario is never boring, especially for Bell Cranel, a naïve young man hoping to become the greatest adventurer on earth. After a chance encounter with the lonely goddess Hestia, his dreams come a little closer to reality. With their support, Bell embarks on a fantastical quest as he ventures deep into the city's monster-filled catacombs, known only as the "Dungeon."

Death lurks in every corner of the cavernous depths of this terrifying labyrinth, and a mysterious power moves through the shadows. Even on the surface, survival is a hard-earned privilege. In fact, nothing is certain in a world where gods and humans live and work together, especially when they often struggle to get along. However, one thing is for sure: the intrepid and optimistic protagonist of this herculean story awaits endless blunders, triumphs and friendships.
