Boku no Hero Academia will end in August

The publisher Shueisha issued a press release to inform that the manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, "Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia)", will end with its chapter on August 5 in Japan. Consequently, considering that the work is currently on hold, there are only five chapters left for the manga's completion.
The author commented:
- "I am very sorry for the two-week break. I accumulated a lot of things and the schedule seemed like a thousand leaves! The story will conclude in five more chapters. Some will think 'Are there still five chapters left?' while others will think 'Only five chapters left?' There may be divided opinions, but I will strive for both groups to enjoy these last five chapters, along with Deku and the others. Despite all the obstacles, I have been able to draw Deku and his friends for almost ten years thanks to all of you who have continued reading. It was a dream time. Thank you very much! See you again at the Shonen Jump!"

For his part, Horikoshi began the publication of the manga "Boku no Hero Academia" in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014 and entered his last story arc in March 2021. The anime adaptation produced by BONES studios has been in progress since April 2016, inspiring a total of six seasons to date and a seventh already on air.
Synopsis of Boku no Hero Academia
The appearance of "Quirks," newly discovered superpowers, has steadily increased over the years, with 80 percent of humanity possessing various abilities, from manipulating elements to shapeshifting. This leaves the rest of the world completely powerless, and Izuku Midoriya is one of those individuals. Ever since he was a child, the ambitious high school student has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. Izuku's unjust fate leaves him admiring the heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can. But it seems that his persistence has paid off some: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. All Might's Quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku as his successor!
After enduring many months of grueling training, Izuku enrolls in UA Academy, a prestigious prep school famous for its excellent hero training program, and this year's freshmen look especially promising. With his strange but talented classmates and the looming threat of an evil organization, Izuku will soon learn what it really means to be a hero.
