BLEACH will be back in October

During the Anime Expo 2024 event, a new promotional video for "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, Part 3 – The Conflict" was revealed, the upcoming season of the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, "BLEACH". The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the month of October-2024, and shows a snippet of the musical themes, including:

• SIX LOUNGE will perform the opening theme song titled "Kotoba ni Sezu Tomo," while Suisoh will perform the closing theme titled "Monochrome."

The first part of "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War", like the second, had a total of thirteen episodes, but it is also confirmed that everything that remains of the original manga will be adapted. For his part, Tite Kubo published the original manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between August 2001 and August 2016, compiling the work in a total of 74 volumes.

Production Equipment

• Tomohisa Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists, Kino's Journey – The Beautiful World, Akudama Drive) replaces Noriyuki Abe as project director at Studio Pierrot, and also handles the writing and supervision of the scripts in collaboration with Masaki Hiramatsu (Kara no Kyoukai, Minori Scramble!)
• Masashi Kudou (Naruto, Bleach, Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch) returns to handle character design and animation direction.
• Shirou Sagisu (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Black Bullet) is in charge of the composition of the soundtrack.

General synopsis of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

Substitute soul reaper Ichigo Kurosaki spends his days battling the Hollows, dangerous evil spirits that threaten the city of Karakura. Ichigo carries out his quest with his closest allies: Orihime Inoue, his childhood friend with a talent for healing; Yasutora Sado, his high school classmate with superhuman strength; and Uryuu Ishida, Ichigo's rival in the Quincy. Ichigo's vigilante routine is disrupted by the sudden appearance of Asguiaro Ebern, a dangerous Arrancar who heralds the return of Yhwach, an ancient Quincy king.

Yhwach intends to reignite the historic blood feud between the Soul Reaper and Quincy, and sets out to erase both the human world and Soul Society forever. Yhwach launches a two-pronged invasion, both in Soul Society and in Hollow World, the home of Hollows and Arrancar. In retaliation, Ichigo and his friends must fight alongside old allies and enemies to end Yhwach's campaign of destruction before the world itself comes to an end.
