BEASTARS will finally return in December

The anime adaptation of "BEASTARS," based on the manga by Paru Itagaki, comes to a conclusion with the premiere of Part 1 of "FINAL SEASON" on December 5 on Netflix, where it will stream exclusively. To further excite fans, a new promotional video has been released offering a sneak peek at the crucial events of this final season.

In the trailer, it is shown how the protagonist Legoshi, after leaving the academy, begins a new life in society. However, their story is intertwined with that of Haru and Louis, who have also gone their separate ways in this complex society of carnivores and herbivores. In addition, the plot intensifies with a mystery that threatens the peace: an increase in "devouring incidents" that shakes the entire community. To investigate these events, the "Beastars", the leaders who sustain the social order, begin an investigation that promises to reveal deep secrets of this universe.

As for the new characters, the voice actors who will play key roles in this season have been confirmed:

  • Shigeru Chiba will voice Gosha, a Komodo dragon who, along with Yahya, once aspired to become a Beastar.
  • Shinichiro Miki will play Yahya, the modern-day Beastar, who follows a different path than Gosha.
  • Koji Okino will play Melon, a mysterious creature that operates in the underworld.
  • Tessho Genda will play Sagwan, a bearded seal of unknown age who lives in the same building as Legoshi.
  • Fumiko Orikasa will voice Seven, a neighboring Merino sheep from Legoshi who works for a large sporting goods company.

"BEASTARS", a work that explores the coexistence between carnivores and herbivores in a world where peaceful coexistence is constantly at risk, will reach its definitive conclusion in this final season divided into two parts. Part 2, which will bring this tale of intrigue, drama, and self-discovery to a close, will premiere on a date yet to be announced.

Synopsis of Beastars

In a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, herbivores and carnivores coexist with each other. For the teens at Cherryton Academy, school life is filled with hope, romance, mistrust, and restlessness. The main character in this story is the wolf Regoshi, a member of the drama club. Despite his menacing appearance, he has a very soft heart and character. Throughout most of his life, he has always been the object of fear and hatred by the other animals and has been used to that lifestyle. But soon, he finds himself increasingly involved with his classmates who have their own insecurities and realizes that his life at school will take a major turn.
