On the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Sun Sun Sun and illustrated by Momoco, "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Dereru Tonari no Aalya-san's Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go)", it was reported that production problems have caused the premiere to be delayed until the Summer-2024 season (July-September) in Japan.

The premiere was originally scheduled for the Spring-2024 (April-June) season, but the production team listed that this delay is "with the goal of making this anime more enjoyable for everyone."
