A White Mage Arrives in The White Mage Who Was Banished From the Hero's Party

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Sora Suigetsu and DeeCHA, "The White Mage Who Was Banished From the Hero's Party Is Picked Up By an S-Rank Adventurer: This White Mage Is Too Out of the Ordinary! (Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Shiromadoushi, S-Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiromadoushi ga Kikakugai Sugiru)," the promotional visual of the project was revealed. The press release revealed the production details and that the premiere is scheduled for sometime in 2025 in Japan.

DeeCHA, the artist behind the original light novels, shared an illustration to celebrate the announcement.

In addition, Wasabi Mukuno, artist of the manga adaptation, also shared an illustration.

For its part, Suigetsu began publishing the novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Naro in March 2020, while the Futabasha publishing house has been publishing them on paper with illustrations by DeeCHA since November 2020. A manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno has been published through Futabasha's Gaugau Monster service since January 2021.

Hiroshi Tamada (Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai of 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu, Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records) is in charge of directing the anime at Felix Film Studios.
Akihiko Inari (Cowboy Bebop, Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai from 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu, Chou Yuu Sekai: Being the Reality) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
Yuuta Itou (Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu, Granblue Fantasy The Animation) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
