A New Girl Group Arrives at Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night

On the official site for Doga Kobo Studios' upcoming original anime, titled as "Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night (Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai)," a new promotional image for the project was revealed. The press release also confirmed that pianist and YouTuber, "Haramichan," will be handling the piano performances within the story.

A visual was also revealed to introduce the anonymous talent within the story, "JELEE".

Meanwhile, the series is scheduled to premiere on April 6 in Japan. This is a very special production, as it will commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Doga Kobo Studios.

- popman3580 is credited with the original designs, while Junichirou Taniguchi (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Prison School, GOSICK, Yesterday wo Utatte) handles character design and animation direction, with assistance from Chiaki Nakajima and Shuri.
- KanoeRana will perform the opening theme titled "Irodori" (Coloring), while Anna Tsurushima will perform the closing theme titled "Ichi-nichi wa 25-jikan" (A Day Is 25 Hours).
Synopsis of Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night
"I want to find what I like." Shibuya, a district brimming with identity. A girl trying to find herself wanders through Shibuya in the middle of the night until a special encounter changes everything. For the first time, the creative activities of unknown young women will begin. A coming-of-age story by Ryouhei Takeshita, director of "Eromanga Sensei," and Yuki Yaku, author of "Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun," hosted by Doga Kobo, which celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. The girls' creative and anonymous activities finally begin.
