A Killer Maid Will Arrive With Kimi wa Meido-sama

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Shotan, "Kimi wa Meido-sama (You Are Ms. Servant)," a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for October 5 in Japan, while the Crunchyroll platform will be in charge of its distribution in the West.

For his part, Shotan began publishing the manga through Shogakukan's Sunday Webry service in August 2019, where it is still in serialization. This is the author's first serialized work, something to boast about considering that his first and only work is the one that gets an anime adaptation.

Synopsis of Kimi wa Meido-sama

Hitoyoshi Yokoya is a high school student who currently lives alone. One day, an unknown girl knocks on his door and offers to be his maid. He reveals that she is a former assassin, which makes Hitoyoshi nervous. But when his skills save him from being hit by a truck, Hitoyoshi decides to accept it. However, the mysterious girl doesn't have any household skills. In fact, his only expertise is murder, as he has lived his entire life to kill. However, the time she spends with Hitoyoshi allows her to experience new emotions that she has never felt before, which inspires her to become a normal girl.

To move forward in this new chapter of her life, she asks Hitoyoshi to give her a new name, and he calls her Yuki. Having someone she can finally call family, Yuki acquires fond new memories that fill her heart with warmth as she tries to leave her dark and lonely past behind.
