A fan recreates Shingeki no Kyojin in Minecraft

In the world of gaming, the creativity of gamers often surprises with projects that merge different universes. Recently, a Reddit user known as stan616 (u/a1ndrea) shared an impressive project that unites "Minecraft" with "Shingeki no Kyojin." This talented player meticulously recreated the Shiganshina District from the anime, piece by piece, using the game's creation tools.

According to stan616, the construction of the Shiganshina District took two full months of dedicated work in Minecraft. "Exactly 67 days and about 500 hours," the user mentioned. Some commentators broke down the hours spent by stan616 and estimated that it would equate to "8 hours per day for 67 days" or "7.4 hours per day."
In a 41-minute YouTube video, stan616 detailed his approach to such a massive project in Minecraft. The video gives a detailed look at all the individual aspects, such as Eren Yeager's house and the specific streets of the Shiganshina District. Planting all the grass texture took two days, while planting trees took an additional four days.
This project is not stan616's first ambitious foray into the gaming world. Previously, the content creator had recreated several anime locations based on Studio Ghibli classics, such as "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle," also in Minecraft. In addition, the user has recreated the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College scenario from "Jujutsu Kaisen".
Fans' enthusiasm for recreating the world of "Shingeki no Kyojin" is not limited to Minecraft. Another passionate user recreated the same scenario in the popular monster simulation game, Palworld. Even MAPPA, the anime studio behind "Shingeki no Kyojin", has indirectly acknowledged the impact of the gaming community by using a screenshot of Total War: Empire in one of the most important episodes of the series.
These projects demonstrate how a passion for video games and anime can lead to stunning creations that capture the essence and detail of fictional universes beloved by fans around the world.
