2.5 Dimensional Seduction would have a second season

A recent leak claimed that the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yuu Hashimoto, "2.5 Dimensional Seduction (2.5-jigen no Ririsa)," will have a second season soon. The leak is pending official confirmation, but it could come after the final episode (Episode 24) airs this week.

Yuu Hashimoto began publishing the manga through Shueisha's Shueisha Shonen Jump Plus digital service, where it is still in serialization. The anime adaptation by J.C.STAFF studios, directed by Hideki Okamoto, has been on air since Summer-2024 (July-September), with a total of twenty-four episodes.
Synopsis of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
After a disastrous romantic confession, Masamune Okumura finds solace in the fictional world of anime and manga. Now a sophomore and president of the Manga Research Club, Masamune spends a peaceful existence watching the adventures of the angel Liliel, his favorite character. At the beginning of the year, Masamune's life is turned upside down when he meets first-year student Ririsa Amano, who is passionate about cosplay. Despite Masamune's initial reluctance, the determined young woman manages to convince him to become her personal photographer for the production of a collection dedicated to her common favorite character: Liliel.
As Masamune eagerly discovers the world of cosplay and photo editing, she unexpectedly reunites with her childhood friend Mikari Tachibana, who has become a model in hopes of impressing her beloved classmate. Realizing that modeling isn't enough to intrigue the hopeless otaku, Mikari decides to join the club and become a cosplayer herself, all to finally have a chance to conquer Masamune's heart. However, Masamune's love of fictional characters may not be able to extend to those who impersonate them.
